Uttar Pradesh -Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath was born in North India Uttarakhand on 5 June 1972 in Sanatan Hindu religion. His name was Ajay Singh Bisht. After completing his education, after abandoning his village family, he came to Shri Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, after which he took the form of a sanyasi and started serving as a saint in Shri Gorakhnath temple. In 1994, Shri Yogi Adityanath became a sanyasi, the first step of his life was in 1999, he contested the Lok Sabha election for the first time on a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket from Gorakhpur district, due to his Hindutva ideology, he became an MP from Gorakhpur district. In 2004 also, he became an MP with full majority in the Lok Sabha elections, similarly till 2017 he remained an MP from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh, in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party won the assembly with a lead of votes.
